IoT applications are rapidly increasing. A broad range of wireless technologies including IEEE 802.11, IEEE 802.5.4, ETSI specification, LoRa and SigFox have been developed to meet various application requirements. It is common for systems using these technologies to be active in the same environment, and to be applied in overlapping use cases. The Sub-1 GHz spectrum is a limited spectrum resource, and systems based on these technologies need to coexist. Environment measurements reveal significant interference potential among heterogeneous wireless systems. Therefore, the friendly coexistence of heterogeneous wireless technologies provides high value. IEEE Std 802.19.3TM-2021 provides best practices for Sub-1 GHz frequency band wireless coexistence with recommendations to guide product deployment of IEEE 802.11 and IEEE 802.15.4 based systems.
This webinar is ideal for professionals, researchers, and engineers working with wireless technologies.
